The Business Opportunity

Q5. How much can I earn as a SkyWatchNetwork organizer?

Organizers typically charge €125–€175 per person for professionally guided skywatching evenings.

A public event with 15 participants at €150 per person generates €2,250 for a single evening. A private event with 10 participants at €175 per person generates €1,750.

Organizers who build a monthly membership program with 20 members at €75 per month create a minimum of €1,500 in recurring monthly income.

These are examples. Your actual earnings will depend on your location, event frequency, pricing, and the number of participants per event.

Q6. What support do organizers receive?

Organizers receive everything they need to start:

  • Training — how to host safe, engaging, and memorable events
  • Tools — access to searchlights (purchase or rental)
  • Support — guidance and resources
  • Promotion — events listed on our website and social channels
  • A unique business opportunity — no other program offers this combination

Q7. What does it cost to become an organizer?

Q12. Do I need special training to use the light?

Yes. All operators must receive training before using the equipment. Training is provided by SkyWatchNetwork.

Technical Questions

Q13. How far does the SkyWatch X-1 light reach?

The system delivers effective 1-lux illumination at 15 kilometers. The beam remains visible as a light pillar for 35–50+ kilometers in the atmosphere.

Q14. What power source does the light need?

The SkyWatch X-1 is available in two power configurations:

  • European version: Requires 208–264V AC (standard European 220–240V mains). Just plug it into a normal wall outlet. No transformer, no special wiring.
  • US version: Requires 110–120V AC (standard US mains). Just plug it into a standard US wall outlet. No transformer needed.

Both versions operate on 47–63 Hz single phase with built-in power factor correction.

When ordering, please specify your region so we can deliver the correct configuration.

Q15. Is the light safe to look at?

No. Never look directly into the beam. It is extremely bright and can cause eye damage. Safety instructions are provided at all events.

Q16. Is the light weatherproof?

Yes. The system has an IP66 rating — waterproof and dustproof. It is built for outdoor use.

Q17. What makes a SkyWatchNetwork event different from a classroom course?

A SkyWatchNetwork event is not a classroom course. It is a complete outdoor night adventure and experience — a journey into the unknown. Participants experience a professional searchlight, a guided tour of the night sky, the thrill of discovery, and a unique adventure in remote, beautiful locations.

Q18. Do I need binoculars or other devices to see objects at 15 km?

No — you do not need binoculars or any special equipment to see objects illuminated by the SkyBeam X-1 at 15 km.

It is the same as when you look up at the sky and see an airplane flying — you don't need binoculars to see it. The airplane is clearly visible to the naked eye.

The beam delivers 1-lux illumination at 15 km, which is roughly the brightness of a full moon on a clear night. That is enough light for the naked eye to clearly see objects at extreme range — not just detect them, but identify them.

However, binoculars or a telescope can enhance the experience by bringing objects closer and revealing more detail. They are a great addition for serious observers, but they are not necessary to enjoy the event.

Legal & Safety

Q19. Is SkyWatchNetwork liable for accidents at events?

SkyWatchNetwork takes safety seriously. All participants attend events at their own risk. Organizers carry their own liability insurance. Participants are required to follow all safety instructions.
